In addition, he leaves several nieces and nephews, including godchildren nephew Michael Piattoni and niece Kara Piattoni, together with nieces Gina Saladino and Lisa Bergeron and nephew Kyle Piattoni. He was also predeceased by his nephew Daniel Piattoni. He was particularly close to his great niece, Sophia, who could always get him to smile. He is also survived by his step family Steve and Michelle Couture and their respective families. They faithfully watched over each other all these years.
