Clement Joseph Pelchat passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 01, 2018 at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 85 years old.
Born in Gorham, NH on September 20, 1932 he was the son of Alfred and Aurora (Jolin) Pelchat.
Clem married Doris Perry on February 20, 1953 and together they raised four children. In 1989 he retired from James River Corp where he worked as a superintendent. He served 22 years in the Army National Guard and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a leader in the Boy Scouts for many years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and hunting. Clem and Doris enjoyed many winters in Port Richey, FL. He will truly be missed by many at St. Vincent’s.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Robert Pelchat and sister Lorraine Laflamme.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 65 years Doris (Perry) Pelchat of Berlin, NH; Roland Pelchat and wife Diane of Berlin, Susan Riendeau and husband Roger of Berlin, Elaine Bush and husband Joseph of Ballston Spa, NY, and Mark Pelchat of Berlin; Six grandchildren, Paula Pelchat and fiancé Jeff Sargent, Pamela Teebagy and husband James, Lisa Smith and husband Joseph, Erin Poirier, Morgan Bush and wife Dana, and Travis Bush and companion Suzy Moseman; seven great-grandchildren, Hailey, Meadow, Teagan, Braeden, Kallie, Wyatt and Anthony; several nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00am at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cates Hill Road, Berlin, NH.
