Normand Arsenault passed away on Thursday, May 09, 2019 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. He was 84 years old.
Normand was born in Berlin, May 1, 1935, the son of the late Edward and Delia (Moreau) Arsenault. He attended school in Berlin. He married Rita B. Roberge and together they raised five sons and a daughter. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict and later worked as Machine Helper at Crown Vantage retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Guardian Angel Parish now known as St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. His greatest love was his family. He was a very loving, caring and devoted father. He enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Rita (Roberge) Arsenault.
He is survived by five sons: Richard Arsenault and his wife Amy of Alaska, Robert Arsenault and his wife Ann of Rochester, NH, Roland Arsenault and his wife Lynda of Berlin, Ronald Arsenault and his wife Jacqueline of Virginia, Steven Arsenault and his wife Vicky of Berlin, and a daughter Diane Fortier of Berlin. He also leaves two brothers, Paul Arsenault of Manchester, NH and Leo Arsenault of Florida, and two sisters Marguerite Cadorette and Claire Prouty of Laconia, NH. He also leaves 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Tuesday, May 14th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Wednesday, May 15th from 8:30am to 9:30am at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 15th at 10:00am at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, Berlin, NH.
Burial will follow at St. Anne Cemetery in Berlin, NH.
