Jacqueline (Berube) Bergeron passed peacefully at her home July 15, 2018.  A lifelong NH resident, Jackie spent most of her years in Berlin, Rochester, and West Lebanon.

Born in Berlin, April 3, 1935, to Dr. Alexandre and Antoinette (LeBlond) Berube, she was predeceased by her husband Gilbert (Bob); and siblings: Armand Berube, Laurier Berube, Yvette Valliere, Florence Donnelly, Doris Carrier, Estelle Desilets, Simonne Boulanger, Rudolph Berube, Lorraine Pike, Claire Wilkins, Gisele Levesque and Priscilla Desilets.

She leaves sons Dale Bergeron of Manchester, NH, and Alan (and wife Cheri) Bergeron of Sunapee, NH; grandchildren, David Bergeron, Willow Funk, Sawyer and Noell Bergeron; her sister Marcelle Benz of Ocala, FL; and several nieces and nephews. 

Jackie and her late husband owned and operated the Northwood Motel in Northwood, NH, during the mid-1970s. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and visits from extended family.  While residing in Rochester, NH, she was an enthusiastic and active volunteer at Frisbie Memorial Hospital and Rochester Manor nursing home. She took great delight in crafts and decorating, sharing her gift with others, and was an active member of numerous craft groups over the years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at 1:00 pm at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, Berlin, NH.  Interment will follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held prior to the service on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.  Jackie’s favorite color was blue. If you wish you may wear something blue to remember her.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Norris Cotton Cancer Center, Visiting Nurses of Vermont and New Hampshire, or Upper Valley Senior Center.
